Burnt out? Need to recharge or regroup? Need some peace and quiet?

I have just the place. My secluded mountain bungalow in the middle of the
Idaho Rocky Mountains is only 5 miles south of the friendly town of Lava Hot
Springs where the Lava Hot Spring State Park offers the best hot pools in
the west and an Olympic sized swimming pool with diving platforms and water
slides. Thunder Mountain Golf course and Lava Airport are 3 miles from my
home. Pocatello International Airport is 35 miles northwest as well as
Idaho State University and the recently opened, beautiful Performing Arts
Center. Of course Pocatello offers all the usual amenities. Lava offers
dancing, lions' bingo where you can win up to $1199.00, miniature golf, great
eating establishments serving anything from steak and potato to Thai
food or perhaps a horse drawn wagon ride with Dutch-oven dinner might be
the ticket. RMD Computers offers activities such as computer access as well
as video games. On the outskirts of Lava you will find the best hunting and
fishing in the area as well as hiking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding (with
Pebble Creek ski area just minutes away), snowmobiling, ice-fishing,
four-wheeling, bicycling, float tubing down the picturesque Portneuf River,
the possibilities are endless. Yellowstone, Targhee National Parks, Jackson
Hole, Craters of the Moon all within 3 hours drive. Be sure to check out
the websites for more information on these destinations. Or maybe you are
looking to lay low, relax and curl up by the fireplace with a good book.
Remember your camera. You may be lucky enough to see deer, moose, coyotes,
pheasant, grouse and birds from eagles to hummingbirds right from the deck.
The views are spectacular!
My mountain bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen as well as an outdoor
barbeque. The open floor plan will sleep 5
comfortably but will
accommodate more if needed. Linens and towels are supplied. Horse-shoe pits,
volleyball and indoor darts are at hand.
Four-wheel drive is recommended to
access the home up the one mile, rough, un-maintained road.
